Crystal coat TS1
About
A penetrating crystalline coating for negative-side waterproofing. It is a unique formulation of chemicals that requires moisture and the “free lime” in concrete to initiate a chemical reaction. This reaction grows deep, insoluble crystals within the concrete’s capillaries, permanently blocking water migration. It can also self-heal future hairline cracks.
Can be applied to the inside (negative side) of a structure (e.g., a basement wall) to stop water from entering, resisting up to 7 bars.
Crystalline growth can penetrate up to 2 inches (51 mm) into the concrete matrix over 28 days.
The waterproofing is not merely a surface coating and cannot be punctured or damaged.
Can seal future hairline cracks up to 0.4 mm, reactivating whenever moisture is present.
Protects concrete from salt water, alkalis, and mild acids.
Area of Application
Negative-side waterproofing of concrete structures (e.g., internal basement walls, lift pits). Applied as a slurry or dry-shake broadcast. Used in foundations, tunnels, and wastewater treatment plants.
