Turbo Base is a specialised, fast-curing, mineral-based waterproofing slurry engineered to serve as the foundational layer in high-performance negative-side waterproofing systems. It is specifically designed to combat pressurised groundwater and hydrostatic pressure from the negative side of structures, making it ideal for internal basement walls, retaining walls, lift pits, tunnels, and underground concrete structures where exterior excavation is not possible.
Developed using advanced mineral crystallising technology, Turbo Base chemically reacts with the concrete and masonry substrate to form a dense, impermeable barrier that blocks water migration through capillaries and pores. Unlike conventional surface coatings, it becomes an integral part of the structure, creating a permanent waterproof seal that resists water ingress, dampness, efflorescence, and structural moisture damage.
Its specialised formulation provides exceptional resistance to aggressive groundwater salts, alkalis, and moisture-related deterioration while maintaining strong adhesion to concrete, masonry, blockwork, and cementitious surfaces. How Turbo Base Works
Surface Preparation
Remove dust, loose particles, laitance, paint, grease, and contaminants from the concrete or masonry surface.
Surface Saturation
Pre-wet the substrate until it reaches a Saturated Surface Dry (SSD) condition before applying Turbo Base.
Mix the Slurry
Mix Turbo Base with clean water thoroughly until a smooth, lump-free slurry is obtained.
Apply Turbo Base
Apply one or more uniform coats using a brush or suitable application tool to achieve complete coverage.
Cure & Protect
Allow the coating to cure completely, forming a permanent waterproof barrier against negative water pressure.
Surface Preparation
